Wouter André "Wally" De Backer (born 21 May 1980), known professionally as Gotye ( GOT-ee-ay), is an Australian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, best known for his breakthrough single "Somebody That I Used To Know" of his third and most recent album Making Mirrors released in 2011.
