Sabrina Carpenter

Sabrina Annlynn Carpenter (born May 11, 1999) is an American singer and actress. She first gained recognition for her leading role in the Disney Channel comedy series Girl Meets World (2014–2017) and the Disney Channel Original Movie Adventures in Babysitting (2016). Around the same time, she started releasing music, getting her first Billboard Hot 100 song in 2021 before releasing her fifth studio album Emails I Can't Send the next year.

She made her acting debut with an appearance in the television crime show Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and had a recurring role on Fox's The Goodwin Games (2011). Carpenter has since starred in several feature films, including Horns (2013), The Hate U Give (2018), The Short History of the Long Road (2019), Clouds (2020), and Emergency (2022). She also starred in Netflix films, Tall Girl (2019), its sequel (2022), and Work It (2020).

Carpenter signed with Hollywood Records and released her debut single "Can't Blame a Girl for Trying" and EP of the same name in 2014. Her debut studio album, Eyes Wide Open, was released in 2015. She followed it with the studio albums Evolution (2016), Singular: Act I (2018) and Singular: Act II (2019), which were supported by singles such as "Thumbs" and "Why". Her collaboration with Norwegian DJ Alan Walker, "On My Way", charted in various countries and reached number seven on the US Dance Club Songs.

Moving to Island Records in 2021, Carpenter released the single "Skin", which marked her first song to chart on the US Billboard Hot 100, peaking at number 48. In 2022, she released her fifth studio album, Emails I Can't Send (2022), which peaked at number 23 on the Billboard 200, marking Carpenter's highest-charting album in the US, and she embarked on a concert tour of the same name to support the album. "Nonsense", a single from Emails I Can't Send, peaked at number 56 on the Hot 100. In 2023, Carpenter opened for Taylor Swift at the Eras Tour and released the Christmas EP Fruitcake (2023).
