Album Review: While She Sleeps - You Are We

Championed early by their homeland press as British metal's next big thing, While She Sleeps' career trajectory hasn't been sans stumbling blocks.

The end result though is album number three being packed with hooks (Empire Of Silence, Hurricane) possessing more bite than a True Blood marathon. Greater focus on clean vocals seems a natural shift, and there's still sufficient moments of bristling metalcore intensity and gang chants to sate mosh fiends. Fellow Sheffield mob Bring Me The Horizon's co-sign has boosted their ascension; this continues as vocalist Oli Sykes guests on infectious Silence Speaks. This record will tick plenty of boxes for plenty of people.
