"A novel take on an old idea."
Tim Solly stars in The Dirty Cowboy.
Set in the Wild West, Solly borrows all the tropes to take the audience through a tale of violence, love and ultimately woe. The work is a play with music as Solly interweaves dialogue between original country and western songs that tell the story of his character Sheriff Talley and his lover Betty-Mae. Solly's voice is deep and gravelly and suits the seedy aesthetic perfectly; the songs are good too. A novel take on an old idea, The Dirty Cowboy is definitely worth checking out.
