The Comedy Zone

The Comedy Zone is a showcase of emerging young comics from across Australia handpicked from events such as RAW Comedy and Class Clowns.

Crammed together on one line-up, each of the five acts offer a different style in their brief ten-minute set, from Matt Stewart’s deadpan monotone delivery, Nina Oyama’s potty-mouth humor and Jacob Lingard’s charismatic storytelling, to Matt Ford’s laidback stoner observations and Ciaran Lyons’ one-liners about being a teenager. It’s fast-paced and while not 100% polished, a great sample of the future of Australian comedy.
