"There's no reinvention of the wheel going on here, but the consistency of the band is rock solid."
Future Of The Left have never been big on subtly.
Too many words inelegantly crammed into too little space, where no metaphor or snarky play on words is too on the nose and no riff is angry enough. It's never pretty, but always effective. This album continues that tradition in gloriously pissed off style. There's no reinvention of the wheel going on here, but the consistency of the band is rock solid. The one good thing about the world going to shit is that Future Of The Left will never be short of inspiration.
