New York: where covering one celebrity turns into covering two celebrities in a heartbeat
Proving that life in New York City really is unlike anywhere else on the planet, PIX11 newsman Mario Diaz was interrupted on-air by an amorous "fan" who turned out to be none other than famed musician Erykah Badu.
Reporting on Shia LaBeouf's recent arrest for disorderly behaviour at a Studio 54 production of Cabaret, Diaz found himself the unwilling target of Badu's bizarrely timed affections after the singer wandered in to his live broadcast shot for shits and giggles before performing her (quite literal) piece de resistance by half-heartedly attempting to kiss the cuddly-looking journo.
Badu denied on social media that the woman in the video was her, but consequent posts have indeed confirmed it was her who tried to steal a peck from Diaz. He has, in turn, copped some heat for marginally forcefully shoving Badu, but she's not totally innocent as far as getting up in his personal space while he was trying to do a job, either.

The musician and media man consequently made up on Twitter, but remember folks - always ask consent.
@fatbellybella I get it because... "Ain't no particular sign I'm more compatible with I just want your extra time and your..... kiss"
