The tune is part of the band's broader '63 Days Of Love' social movement.
Though they never quite took off Down Under in the way many expected, Adelaide band Atlas Genius have done very well for themselves in the United States, a trend that's continued with their fresh appearance on Conan to perform their personal new single, 63 Days.
Stopping by the show in the midst of a US tour, the band chose the tune for significant reasons: 63 Days partially shares its name with 63 Days Of Love, a social movement conceived by band members and brothers Keith and Mike Jeffery, which — long story short — amounts to them "asking you to join us in making a 63-day commitment to spreading compassion and kindness all around you".
Advising that "your 63 days can begin whenever you want", the brothers suggest spending the time "lending a helping hand to anyone who needs it", "connecting with your friends, family, loved ones, neighbors and total strangers", "getting involved with charities or organizations both local and global" and "reaching out to those in need".

On a more personal level, according to Keith, 63 Days is "a love letter I wrote to someone I broke; a girl who meant everything to me who trusted me to hold her heart. A heart I accidentally shattered because I simply forgot how fragile it was", and it clearly carries a great deal of importance to the band as the impetus for their new initiative.
