If you know you know...

More Michael Buble More Michael Buble

As Brisbane legends go, many have claimed when you die in the River City, you respawn at the Queen St Mall Hungry Jack’s.

And fair enough. It’s one of Brisbane’s most beloved buildings - from a cheeky bathroom pit stop on a night out to a coveted meeting place, the inner-city location has it all.

It therefore came as no surprise to us when Brisbane Times reported Christmas enthusiast Michael Bublé had been frequenting the institution while he was in town on tour. Man loves a Whopper.

"This is not a lie, that is where I was for two days."

We’re not entirely sure who let Bublé out of his cave - it’s not Christmastime after all - but we’re not mad about it. Especially considering he knows an icon when he sees one.

"I love it here, I love Brisbane. I know the city very well, this is a class place," Bublé told Brisbane Times

"I have gotten to be here for the past two days, totally free, and I have spent all my time at the Queen Street Mall at the Hungry Jack's.

"This is not a lie, that is where I was for two days."

Good lad.

Bublé, the cheeky sod, thought it would be a hoot to hang out at the famous location, serenading those in line with his Christmas ballads.

"I thought, wouldn't it be hilarious if all of a sudden in the line I just sung, 'It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas,'" he said.

"I just imagine people shitting themselves saying, 'Oh my God, it is really him singing Christmas music in Hungry Jack's.'"

Can you imagine?! Oh the hilarity!

Bublé heads to Sydney on 7 February before playing Adelaide, Melbourne and Perth. Who knows - he might be popping up in a fast food joint near you.
