The Mansfield legends are giving back to their local community.
Aussie rockers Violent Soho have joined forces with a local Queensland rugby club for some killer limited edition merch.
The Mansfield outfit’s new jersey is the result of a collaboration with their local junior rugby league club, Easts Mt Gravatt, who will receive all profits from the release.
The limited edition jersey features Violent Soho’s skull logo wearing headgear and a mouthguard on the front with South Brisbane postcode 4122 on the back.
Easts Mt Gravatt JRLFC have called Allan Innes Field their home since 1978, a ground near Mansfield Tavern where the band cut their teeth, and their affiliation with local rugby runs deep, with guitarist James Tidswell wearing a pair of the club’s playing shorts in the clip for Pick It Up Again, while all members of the band recently registered as club volunteers.
Back in April, Violent Soho debuted at #1 on the ARIA Albums chart with their latest record, Everything Is A-OK.
