Vance Joy has married his longtime partner Selen Us in a stunning ceremony, and has shared some beautiful photos snapped by June Weddings and Aisha Weddings & Events.
The pair tied the knot in Istanbul, Turkey on Monday, 12 June. In November, Joy revealed that he and Us had gotten engaged after three years of dating and that their wedding wouldn’t be too far away. He certainly wasn’t exaggerating.
“We are still planning it but it shouldn't be too far away,” Joy told The Daily Telegraph at the GQ Men of the Year Awards last November. In May 2021, Joy explained to the Herald Sun that his song Missing Piece was dedicated to Us.
“I started writing it in Melbourne in lockdown,” he shared. “A lot of people were separated from their partners. In other songs I’ve talked about going home and that feeling of wanting to see someone.”
Joy continued, “I’m in a happy place. There’s a real comfort in knowing you have a really good thing and it’s not going anywhere.
“What you have isn’t just for right now, it’s a long-term thing. Little bumps ain’t nothing. The distance is a challenge, but it’s all good.”

Speaking with Total Entertainment, he added, “It can be tough but when what you have is good you know that these separations are just small stuff; you’re both holding the line. It’s about the stillness you find when you are together.”
Congratulations to the happy couple! You can see the gorgeous wedding photos below.
Joy’s wedding arrives a few months after the Riptide singer released a new live album, Live At The Opera House. Featuring the hits Riptide, Georgia, Clarity and Catalonia, the new live album also contains the beloved numbers Mess Is Mine, Lay It On Me, Saturday Sun, and many more.

Last year, we found Vance Joy to be the country’s most successful music export, with his June 2022 album In Our Own Sweet Time gaining around 200 million streams by September.
"At the core, it’s great songs and genuine lyrics," Mushroom Group’s Matt Gudinski said. "Vance Joy has been delivering incredible songs consistently since his first release almost a decade ago. Pair that with the breadth of his appeal and you have a combination that has seen Vance Joy build a truly global audience that spans generations."
