Last week's ARIA Albums Chart saw international acts Lukas Graham, Adele and Zayn take out the top three placings respectively and the trend looks to continue this week, with a number of US bands primed to feature heavily in this week's list.
California alt-metal outfit Deftones' eighth offering Gore is battling for the week's highest debut against Denver-based folk band The Lumineers sophomore record, Cleopatra, which are both likely to place in the top three.
If The Lumineers are to achieve the feat, it would surpass the record on the Aussie chart set by their 2012 self-titled debut album which peaked at #7.
Meanwhile, Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals (who will be touring Australia this November), are set to burst into the top ten with their first album together in nine years, Call It What It Is.

Rounding out the album debuts this week include veteran New Jersey musician Zakk Wylde with his second solo album, Book of Shadows II, the follow-up to his 1996 debut solo effort, Book Of Shadows, M83's Junk and Frightened Rabbit with Painting Of A Panic Attack.
On the Singles Chart, Lukas Graham will look to extend their record for the longest running number one by a Danish artist on the ARIA chart with 7 Years, which could potentially hold onto top spot for a ninth straight week.
Other new tunes dropping this week include Drake's Pop Style, featuring The Throne and Desiigner's Panda.
