"I’ve always loved spinning a yarn and making people laugh - guessing this is the biggest chance I’ll ever have to do that where people can only boo me on the text line."
Start frying the eggs and tuning the radio to triple j because Ruby Fields is taking over the station's breakfast program next week.
Fields, who is known for her hits Dinosaurs and P Plates, will host the show while regulars Ben & Liam are on holiday from 1-5 July.
“I’ve always loved spinning a yarn and making people laugh - guessing this is the biggest chance I’ll ever have to do that where people can only boo me on the text line," shares Fields.
"I’ll be ringing up some cooked mates, talking to my vet about my rat (busy life, will have to multitask) and painstakingly avoiding inappropriate words."
This isn't Fields first work with triple j though, having gained a stack of fans with her on-ground interviews at this year's Laneway Festival. Watch it below.
