Brisbane born-and-bred indie rock staples, The Jungle Giants, are planning on taking over their home city this New Years Eve, announcing two DJ sets on one night.
Kicking off the celebrations on a sunset cruise, The Jungle Giants will headline a massive lineup on the Oasis Boat. They’ll be supported by a range of other DJ’s, including Paluma, Charlie Hustle, FIGJAM, Bridgette, Girls In Hats, and Luke Brazier. Though times are yet to be officially confirmed, it seems that this cruise will run from 3pm to 7:30pm.
A mere half an hour later, their next event will begin at 8pm at La La Land. They’ll be joined by Lowdown, Sensitive Boy, and Celine Boudelot, before The Jungle Giants themselves ring in the new year with a wild DJ set that'll go well into the night.

Tickets for the events go on sale this Monday, October 14, at 10am. Otherwise, punters can sign up for presale here.
A ticket for both the boat and afterparty will set you back $75 to $95 plus booking fees, while a ticket to only the La La Land event will cost $40 to $50.
But, before the year closes out, The Jungle Giants will also perform at South Australia’s Handpicked Festival in November. They’ll be joined by sibling duo Angus & Julia Stone, indie crooner Matt Corby, rapidly blooming CYRIL, and household name Pete Murray. Well known coastal band The Dreggs, Maori outfit COTERIE and London-based Aus singer Azure Ryder will also add to the soundscapes of the day.
