Hey! I’m Tione Zylstra, a Meanjin/Brisbane-based freelance journalist, and an avid music fan – just ask my 92-hour-long playlist.
When I’m not busy writing, hanging out with my dog, or catching up on the news, you’ll find me either at a concert, buying tickets for a concert, or lining up for a concert. At the risk of sounding cliché, I really do listen to everything. From Gang of Youths, to Jeremy Zucker, to Lizzy McAlpine, to Childish Gambino, to Paramore, to a sneaky bit of AC/DC on the side, my Spotify Wrapped is often a hot mess. And I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a fan of Taylor Swift and Harry Styles. I’m a little basic, sue me.
You can find some of my other work in Urban List Brisbane, where I write about fun things to do and eat. I’m a sucker for some good food in a niche café.
