'We are deeply saddened that we couldn’t party with you at this time.'
Party In The Park festival has announced its indefinite postponement just weeks out from the big event at Sydney’s Luna Park.
In a statement posted to Facebook and the official website, organisers cited “unforeseen circumstances” as the reason for postponing the March event to a later, unspecified date. Ticket holders will be contacted directly by Moshtix with information about refunds.
The post goes on to say that organisers are looking into a new date for the festival that was set to be headlined by the likes of Kingswood, Art Vs Science, Stonefield and more.
This is the second time in as many years that the festival hasn’t gone ahead as planned; 2017’s iteration was cancelled the day before it was set to take place due to “severe weather and potential safety issues”.
