Aussie hardcore trailblazers SPEED have announced their biggest-ever national tour, supporting their upcoming debut album with an epic six-show run.
It’ll kick off on Thursday, August 22, with a show at the Princess Theatre in Brisbane (Meanjin), followed by a career-defining jaunt at the Enmore Theatre in their stomping grounds of Sydney (Eora) the night after (August 23). The following week, they’ll roll through Melbourne (Naarm, playing Stay Gold on Thursday, August 29 and Northcote Theatre on Friday, August 30), Adelaide (Tarntanya, playing the Uni Bar on Saturday, August 31) and finally, Perth (Boorloo, playing Magnet House on Sunday, September 1).
In addition to the tour announcement, SPEED have revealed that they’re donating proceeds from the shows to charity—$10,000 to the Women's and Girls' Emergency Centre (WAGEC) and another $10,000 to the not-for-profit organisation Merciful Group.
Joining SPEED for all five shows will be a trio of international hardcore favourites – High Vis from the UK, Pain Of Truth from the US and Fuse from Singapore – as well as local guests who will be announced in the coming weeks. Tickets go on sale at 9 am local time this Thursday (June 6) – save this link to make sure you’re all set to grab yours.
