SINGLE PREMIERE: Maddy Jane - 'Perfection’s A Thing And You’re It’

Tasmanian-born artist Maddy Jane is preparing for the release of her debut album and today theMusic.com.au is stoked to exclusively bring you the next taste ahead of its official release.

Perfection's A Thing And You're It is the third single off Not All Bad Or Good, due for release on 1 May through Lemon Tree Records/Sony Music Entertainment.

Speaking to The Music, Jane was adamant that "it’s not a love song". 

"It’s sarcasm for perfection’s not a thing and you can’t be it," she said. 

"It came from people in my life who were not willing to accept other people’s faults, or their own. It’s a song saying no one is perfect and we should try to love all of ourselves and others, faults and all."
