"We guarantee our live shows will be worth the extra wait."
Simple Minds have confirmed that their 40th anniversary tour of Australia has been moved to late 2021 due to the ongoing COVID pandemic.
Originally scheduled for this November, the Scottish outfit will now perform the headline and A Day On The Green dates next December.
"The frustration of seeing yet more live shows being rescheduled is huge," frontman Jim Kerr said.
"We are determined to make even more effort for our fans in Australia and New Zealand. In the meantime we ask all of you to keep your tickets – and keep the faith.
"We guarantee our live shows will be worth the extra wait. Thanks to all!”
