Other Aussies who debuted include Normie Rowe and The Wiggles
Rallying for the top spots this week, British rockers Muse have beaten out Aussie hip hop artist Seth Sentry for the coveted #1 debut spot on the ARIA Albums Chart this week. It is the UK band's third number one album here — last topping our chart in 2009 with The Resistance.
Muse's concept album, Drones, has been well-received all over the world — scoring a rare four-and-a-half star review from us — though Sentry's #2 debut with Strange New Past is also commendable as it charts higher than his previous album, his debut set This Was Tomorrow, which peaked at #6 in 2012.
Icelandic indie-folk band Of Monsters And Men came in with a #4 debut with Beneath The Skin, while other new acts in the chart include Willie Nelson & Merle Haggard's duet country album Django & Jimmie at #31 and American rockers Tremonti with Cauterize at #37— led by Mark Tremonti of Creed and Alter Bridge fame.
After Sentry, the next highest local debut came in the form of Melbourne's '60s pop icon Normie Rowe at #58 with Frenzy! The 50th Anniversary Collection. The Wiggles also slipped in at #68 with The Wiggles Meet The Orchestra — this week's debuts were largely dominated by the internationals.

As expected, Taylor Swift continued to reign supreme on the ARIA Singles Chart with Bad Blood, though Brisbanite Conrad Sewell has inched closer to her with Start Again at #2, up from #6 last week.
*This story was amended having initially stated that Drones was Muse's second number one album in Australia — it is their third number one.
