Could Ed Sheeran Topple Miley Cyrus From The Top Of The Radio Monitor Hot 50?

Miley Cyrus holds strong for the 16th week on the Radio Monitor Hot 50 with Flowers, but Ed Sheeran has climbed up to second place after seven weeks on the chart with Eyes Closed. Could we see a change-up for the #1 spot next week?

Elsewhere, country music has entered the Top 10, with Morgan Wallen reaching #8 after spending last week at #12. The remainder of the Top 10 features P!nk with Trustfall at #3, Creepin by Metro Boomin feat. The Weeknd and 21 Savage follows, Post Malone’s Chemical is at #5, Tiesto & Tate McRae at #6, Coi Leray’s Players at #7, a four-spot drop for Stephen Sanchez at #9 with Until I Found You, and a seven-place jump for Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding at #10 with Miracle.

Raye & 070 Shake’s Escapism has fallen five places to #11, with Peking Duk & Darren Hayes dropping six spots to #13 with I Want You. Taylor Swift and Lizzo remain outside of the Top 10 this week, with Anti-Hero and Special landing at #15 and #16. After spending last week at #42, the country music boom continues to climb up the Radio Monitor Hot 50 – Luke Combs is at #20 with Fast Car.

A string of previous #1s and Top Five tracks appear from numbers 28 to 33, with David Guetta & Bebe Rexha, Lizzo, Harry Styles, Lewis Capaldi, Post Malone & Roddy Rich, and Lil Nas X nabbing those spots.

Taylor Swift’s Karma has entered the chart at #44, and Ed Sheeran closes the Radio Monitor Hot 50 with an older tune, 2step.

Keep Dat N**** by Icandy tops the TikTok chart for a second week. It’s followed by I Love You by D’RORI, See You Again by Tyler The Creator & Kali Uchis, Bounce When She Walk by Ohboyprince, and Unforgiven by LE SSERAFIM & Nile Rodgers.

Other popular songs on the TikTok chart include Aurel Surya Lie’s Cute, Playground Love by Air feat. Gordon Tracks, Ice Spice & Nicki Minaj’s Princess Diana, Doja Cat’s Boss Bitch, another one for Kali Uchis with Moonlight (sped up), a sped-up version of Pretty by MEYY, and Flower by JISOO closes the chart.

Another week on the triple j chart is another week of fluctuations. At #1 this week is Gus Dapperton feat. BENEE, reuniting for a new collaboration called Don’t Let Me Down. D4vd is at #2 with WORTHLESS, followed by TMO (Turn Me On) by Luude & Bru-C feat. Kevin Lyttle at #3 for a second week.

The Last Dinner Party sits at #5 from last week’s #52, with Nothing Matters, while a spot below is another big mover. Aitch jumped from #57 to #6 with Round 2. Coi Leray is #10 after last week’s #25, while Kali Uchis has an impressive run from #82 to #15 with Moonlight.

On the NIMA Chart, The Kid LAROI’s Love Again retains the top spot for the 15th week. His other tunes, Stay featuring Justin Bieber, Thousand Miles and Without You, are at #3, #6 and #8, respectively. Budjerah’s Therapy is second for a 13th week, with Jessica Mauboy remaining at #4 with Right Here, Right Now.

Meanwhile, KIAN & Becca Hatch stay in fifth place with All Of Me. Dean Brady is seventh with Falling, Baker Boy and Bernard Fanning take out #9 with Wish You Well. At #10 is a debut – Don’t Really Care by Djanaba.

This week’s Countrytown Hot 50 chart sees some jumps, but not quite as massive as the ones spotted on triple j. At #1 is Morgan Wallen again, followed by Kaylee Bell’s BOOTS N ALL, Casey Barnes' Summer Nights, James Johnston’s Got It Good, Luke Combs’ Fast Car, and up from #20, ERNEST is sixth with Miss That Girl.

Leaping up seven places from last week’s #14 is Travis Collins with Any Less Anymore. Last week’s #10 is this week’s #8 – Wait In The Truck by Hardy and Lainey Wilson. Up eight places to #10 is Tyler Hubbard with Dancin' In The Country. Jackson Dean is at #11 (last week #19) with Fearless, while Melanie Dyer, who was #27 last week, is at #16 with Song For That.

James Johnston’s new track, WE GREW UP ON, makes its debut at #28, while Dean Brody has another debut at #33 with Where'd You Learn How To Do That. Casey Barnes’ Small Town, last week’s #39, closes the Countrytown Hot 50.
