Ladies to the front!
Looks like ladies are dominating this week on triple j with Brisbane alt-pop singer/songwriter Airling picking up the week's feature album with her debut, Hard To Sleep, Easy To Dream, alongside new tunes from the likes of Tash Sultana, Bishop Briggs, Ruby Fields and more.
Airling's Hard To Sleep, Easy To Dream follows heavy rotation of singles Move Me and Not A Fighter, with the album containing collabs with Big Scary's Tom Iansek, Fractures and Emma Louise.
Other new 'uns you'll be hearing on triple j this week include Splendour In The Grass act Royal Blood with Lights Out, rapper Lil Uzi Vert with XO TOUR Llif3, Bootleg Rascal with With You and a heap of tunes from triple j unearthed as part of the week's spot additions, including FLUER, Swindail and Thornhill.
It's the first week of additions since the huge news was announced last week that the station's big boss Richard Kingsmill had stepped aside as Music Director to make way for Nick Findlay in the role.
