Alice Skye To Feature On New Moby Album Out This May

Local favourite Alice Skye is set to feature on a new album from music heavyweight Moby.

Reprise is set for release on 28 May and sees the US songwriter "revisiting and reimagining musical highlights from his 30-year career" alongside the Budapest Art Orchestra with features from Skye, as well as other big names including Skylar Grey, Gregory Porter, Mark Lanegan and Kris Kristofferson.

“Sorry if this seems self-evident, but for me the main purpose of music is to communicate emotion,” Moby said.

“To share some aspect of the human condition with whoever might be listening.

“I long for the simplicity and vulnerability you can get with acoustic or classical music."
