"We loved the process so much that the entire EP was written together."
What better way for ARIA-winning singer/songwriter Mia Dyson to celebrate her upcoming EP than at home? In support of new EP Right There, Dyson will be heading around Australia this March, making her way from Newcastle through to Victoria, Queensland, Western Australia and Tassie.
Written alongside her poet husband, Dyson's new EP is a combined effort between her partner and herself — "My husband Karl and I have been writing together for over a year, since I put one of his poems to music. We loved the process so much that the entire EP was written together."
Dyson added, "This will be my first headline tour in more than a year at home so I’m really excited to be returning, especially with some new songs in tow which I’m super proud of."
Dyson will kick off the national run from 9 March to 20 March, stopping in the middle of the headline shows to perform at Port Fairy Folk Festival on March 12 and 13. Head to theGuide for full tour details.
