Punk veterans Melvins are heading back to Australia this November to play a string of shows, with LA's Red Kross in support.
The tour is in support of the recently released A Walk With Love And Death, the first ever double album from the Washington trio. The Death side of the album is nothing usual for the group, while the Love side is actually a score for a short film produced by director Jesse Nieminen.
“This was a huge undertaking,” Melvins frontman Buzz Osborne says of the works. “All three things: the album, the soundtrack and the film are benchmarks for us.”
Shows will be taking place in Adelaide, Perth, Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne, with tickets on sale from 13 July; check out TheGuide for more info.
