The band's debut album will drop later this year.
Melbourne indie pop outfit Jade Imagine have signed with Marathon Artists, the UK home for Aussie artists such as to Courtney Barnett, POND, Jen Cloher and more.
The news comes as the Milk! Records outfit prepare to release their debut album later this year, this week offering up lead single and their first new music in two years, Big Old House.
"I wrote Big Old House in Sunshine Beach, after a dream in which a loose melody and lyrics came to me and stuck around just in time for me to get them down on paper,” vocalist Jade McInally said.
“It was the space and solitude of waking up at a stint at mum’s house that allowed the song to creep in and stick around for me. Most mornings at my house in Melbourne would be a fair bit more social... Then in a Brisbane hotel room, the band and I workshopped the arrangement and it was pretty much done!"
Jade Imagine will give Big Old House and hometown launch at Yah Yah’s next month; all the details of which you can find in theGuide.
