Man Takes Selfie Upfront Of Robert Plant Perth Gig; Ejected By Security

An over-eager punter was kicked out of Robert Plant & The Sensational Space Shifters’ WA gig last night after an altercation with venue security.

As The Music’s Daniel Cribb notes, the fan thought he’d commemorate the evening by snapping a selfie with the band in the background, but was confronted by security after spending a bit too long in the aisle posing and blocking the view for several others near the front.

After a brief verbal altercation with one security guard, two more were called and forcefully removed the unruly individual who was yelling and causing a scene.

Plant and his band were largely unaware of the scuffle, but the singer did make a passing comment of “there’s some bingo going on over there” in response to shouts from the punter.

Shortly after, while Plant was telling the story behind Gallows Pole, another punter cut him off, yelling, “Play some Led Zeppelin!”

Plant responded by saying, "Can somebody please help that guy to the door?"
