A heap of shows for Bloom, who will take some time before and after Bluesfest to play for die-hards
With 22 years of success under his belt, Irish singer-songwriter Luka Bloom will return to Australian shores early next year to give fans a few Bluesfest sideshows in celebration of his career spanning two decades.
Since his 1990 debut album Riverside, Bloom has been embraced all over the world, with Australia no exception - the man from Ireland up to his 11th tour Down Under, and this time fresh with some new tunes from his 2012 record This New Morning, a full-length full of storytelling through a folk medium.
According to Bloom, Australia is a very inspirational place to his writing, with an invitation from organisation Dalai Lama Australia to play before he spoke encouraged his songwriting process and the ability to consciously speak of happenings in today's world.
In 1992, Bloom toured Australia for the first time and 11 years later he'll be returning to the place he fell in love with on that first visit, completing a huge tour in March and April next year.
