Starting late February.
Legendary Irish folk artist Luka Bloom has confirmed he will be returning to Australia next February for a headline tour in support of his forthcoming album, Frugalisto.
No stranger to our shores, the 60-year-old songwriter will head to the country for yet another visit since his very first trip Down Under in 1992.
The tour kicks off in Sydney on 27 February, followed by stops in Newcastle, Byron Bay, Brisbane, Canberra, Adelaide, Melbourne, Meeniyan, and Perth, not to mention two special appearances at Port Fairy Folk Festival and Blue Mountains Music Festival in March.
If that wasn't enough, Aussie fans can revel in the fact the new record will be released in the country before it drops anywhere else.

Commenting on the upcoming Australian tour Bloom said, "Many of the songs on this record are inspired by the people where I live. And one of the songs is called Australia. It is a simple love song to a country that means so much to me; a place I have missed this past 3 years."
"I can't wait to sing my new songs in Australia. And am thrilled that the first tour in my calendar for 2016, is Australia."
