In the crossover of the year, Kylie Minogue, Diplo and Orville Peck have joined forces to make Midnight Ride, a new track they debuted at WeHo Pride last Sunday (June 2).
According to a post by Peck, the song – which blends country and disco – will drop this Friday (June 7). The trio performed the song live for the first time as a surprise halfway through Minogue’s headlining set at WeHo Pride’s festival, OUTLOUD, this past weekend.
Bringing out Peck – donned in a sparkling cowboy hat and mask – Minogue said, “We are ready to share this secret with you, so enjoy. I can’t wait myself!”

The performance featured line dancing, gyrating, and, of course, strutting. At the end, the singers embraced.
Posting photos of the performance to Instagram afterward, Peck wrote, “Let us take you on a “Midnight Ride”… THIS FRIDAY. Pre-save now.”
The announcement was met with enthusiasm, with many commenting things like, “This is so hot” and, “Song of the summer right there!” One fan even posted a reel of the performance, writing, “My gay soul temporarily left my body”, to which Orville replied, “Same”.
This isn’t Peck’s first collaboration. In April, he dropped a cover of Cowboys Are Frequently Secretly Fond Of Each Other with Willie Nelson.
