Here Are The Aussies You May Have Missed Who Scored Grammy Nominations

While Sydney trio Mansionair blew everyone away by picking up a Grammy nomination this week, there are a number of fellow Aussie artists who can hold claim to a Grammy nod this year. 

Sia, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds and Hillsong Worship scored official nominations, however names such as Nick Murphy and Kevin Parker are amongst the contributors of 2018 Grammy-nominated works. 

Parker co-wrote Lady Gaga's hit single, Illusion, featured on the US pop star's Best Pop Vocal Album-nominated Joanne, while Murphy co-wrote and performed on Bonobo's Migration, which is up for Best Dance/Electronic Album.

Likewise, fellow Aussies, Nick Martin and Carl Dimataga, collaborated on Khalid's track, Cold Blooded, which features on his Best Urban Contemporary Album-nominated American Teen.

Meanwhile, Melbourne songwriter Ben Abraham makes his first Grammy nominated contribution having co-written Kesha's Praying, up for Best Pop Solo Performance, which is also the lead single from her Best Pop Vocal Album-nominated, Rainbow.

Australian-based producer and songwriter Stuart Crichton also co-wrote on Rainbow's third single, Learn To Let Go.

Also, currently one of Australia's most in-demand pop songwriters, LA-based Sarah Aarons, contributed to Zedd's Stay (ft. Alessia Cara), nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

Sydney artist Jess Chalker's Say Hello appears on Lisa Loeb's Best Children's Album-nominated Feel What U Feel and David Ryan Harris, best known for his work with names such as Guy Sebastian and John Mayer, co-wrote Breathe The Shell, Life I Know and One on India.Arie's SongVersation:Medicine, up for Best New Age Album.

Hiatus Kaiyote have also got in on the fun as their track, Atari, is sampled on Kendrick Lamar's cut, Duckworth, featured on his critically-acclaimed DAMN., nominated for Best Rap Album.

Finally, Perth-born Paul Mabury contributed his songwriting talents to Travis Greene's song, Love Will Always Win, featured on Cross Over: Live From Music City, nominated for Best Gospel Album.
