The Handpicked Festival is returning to South Australia in 2023 and boasted a star-studded lineup that’s bound to get punters excited.
The much-loved festival is making an epic comeback at Langhorne Creek’s Lake Breeze Wines on Saturday the 11th of November, 2023, following a three-year hiatus due to last year’s wild weather and the pandemic causing two postponements.
This year, festivalgoers can expect to catch Northern Beaches brothers and ARIA-award winners Lime Cordiale, who have cemented themselves as Aussie favourites with hits such as On Our Own and Imposter Syndrome.
“Lime Cordiale are known for their infectious performances and generous interactions with fans. They will no doubt be ready to interact with the crowd which is why we all love them so much. They really fit our vibe at Handpicked,” said Handpicked creator Kate Cooper.
They’ll be joined by Brisbane indie rockers Ball Park Music, following the five-piece band recently setting off on a national tour and playing at Splendour in the Grass 2023.
“We love Ball Park Music,” Cooper continued. “Having not seen them in our backyard since 2018, and knowing their live show has gone from strength to strength is exciting. We feel thrilled to have them back.”

Folk sensation Ziggy Alberts, internationally acclaimed rockers The Temper Trap, folk-rock band The Waifs and captivating gospel singer Budjerah are also set to perform.
Home-grown talent will also take centre stage, with local artists aleksiah and Rob Edwards bringing their unique sounds to the show.
The family-run event is a complete sensory experience, showcasing Lake Breeze’s award-winning wines, food trucks serving delicious local produce, a cocktail forest, and a diverse range of local arts, crafts, jewellery and homewares at The Lane.
Following last year’s heartbreaking cancellation, creator Kate Cooper said the outpouring of support from the community has been overwhelming.
“Handpickers have been beyond supportive. We were still receiving messages of support months after the event. To see the community backing us and taking the time to reach out made the world of difference.”
But if you’re keen to head to the festival this year, you better grab your ticket ASAP, as thirty per cent of tickets have already been sold.
“After last year’s cancellation, punters had the chance to hold onto their tickets for the 2023 event. It was heartwarming to see that so many chose to keep their tickets, knowing the line-up would be completely different and new,” Cooper said.
The Handpicked Festival will kick off on Saturday, November 11th at Lake Breeze Winery, Langhorne Creek. Pre-sale tickets can be purchased from www.handpickedfestival.com.
