Punters catching Skrillex band Four Tet’s epic b2b set at HARD Summer 2023 were blessed with a surprise appearance from none other than Fred again.. (kind of) over the weekend.
Sonny and Kieran hit the stage at the LA-based festival on Sunday (August 6), and as expected, the duo got the party started with a high-energy set that featured tracks like Missy Elliot’s RATATA expertly mashed up with Pink Floyd’s Another Brick In The Wall, Skrillex and Boys Noize’s Fine Day Anthem, FISHER’s Losing It and Jon Casey’s remix of Trials by NGHTMRE.

In place of the bass-heavy Country Riddim — which has become a fan favourite that’s often dropped in the duo’s sets thanks to its meme status — the pair delivered a Subtronics remix to switch things up.

However, it was a cheeky appearance from their fellow Pangbourne House Mafia member, Fred again.. on the big screen during thier set that had fans going wild.
In a short clip captured by @TeamBandL, the Baby again.. producer appeared to be in bed as the video was projected via the festival’s big screens.
“lmao I love these 3,” one fan commented, while another added, “This moment brought out the waterworks of joy and being grateful 🔥”

The beloved trio have fast become EDM favourites, particularly after their insane performance at Coachella 2023, when they joined forces for an epic last-minute set after Frank Ocean pulled out of Weekend Two following a disappointing headline show during Weekend One.
The boys came in hot from the get-go, performing on a 360 stage that had previously been Frank Ocean's doomed ice skating rink and earning a wave of praise for bringing the party to close out the festival at such short notice.
And in exciting news for us Down Under, Skrillex and Four Tet are set to bring the beats to our shores for Listen Out 2023 alongside JPEG MAFIA, Lil Uzi Vert, Ice Spice, Marc Rebillet, JPEG MAFIA, VV Pete, Mallrat and more.
And while many are questioning whether the pair will somehow incorporate their fellow DJ Fred into the show, it looks like we’re just going to have to wait and see what happens!
