Laneway Festival returns to Australian shores in early February 2024, and to keep the good times rolling, festival organisers and Frontier Touring have unveiled a massive list of sideshows.

One of the festival headliners, Steve Lacy, has locked in two headline dates at the Sydney Opera House, while fellow headline acts Stormzy and Dominic Fike are festival exclusives. AJ Tracey will hit Sydney’s Enmore Theatre and Melbourne’s Forum, RAYE at the same venues, while Hemlocke Springs will perform at two intimate venues: Melbourne’s Night Cat and Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory.

Elsewhere, Paris Texas will also take over The Night Cat and the Oxford Art Factory, visionary artist d4vd will perform at Sydney’s Liberty Hall and Melbourne’s Croxton Bandroom, and DOMi & JD Beck have locked in dates at three venues: one at the Brunswick Heads Brunswick Picture House, another at the Sydney Factory Theatre, and another at Melbourne’s Corner Hotel.

Aside from Lacy, the acts mentioned above have announced sideshows presented by Laneway Festival, Handsome Tours, triple j and Astral People. Meanwhile, in partnership with Penny Drop, Frontier Touring has announced some highly anticipated sideshows, including Lacy, Faye Webster, Blondshell and Unknown Mortal Orchestra.

LA artist Blondshell is making her Australian debut at Laneway, and her headline shows, performing at Melbourne’s Corner Hotel and Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory with special guests, Aussies The Belair Lip Bombs. Faye Webster will hit Melbourne’s Croxton Bandroom and Sydney’s Metro Theatre, and Unknown Mortal Orchestra will play shows at the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall, Hobart’s Odeon Theatre, and Melbourne’s Forum. Check out all the dates and venues below.

Laneway 2024 kicks off at Brisbane Showgrounds on Saturday, 3 February, then heads to Sydney Showgrounds on Sunday, 4 February, before going to Bonython Park in Adelaide on Friday, 9 February. Saturday, 10 February, will see the event take over The Park, Flemington in Melbourne and then Sunday, 11 February’s final show will be in Wellington Square in Perth. Revisit the full line-up here.
