"I can’t say much more, I’ll get into trouble!"
Look, we might be way off, but hear us out.
During an interview on Nova's Smallzy's Surgery on Monday night, US singer Halsey confirmed she has plans to return to Australia and is currently working on "a few things... on multiple different timelines in Australia".
"Some are big national and exciting, and some are more local," the New Jersey-born songwriter said.
"There is something I’m coming back to do, that I’ve done before but I’ll do it bigger and better – I can’t say much more, I’ll get into trouble!"
Now, that could obviously mean many different things but some fans would remember Halsey performed at the 2015/2016 Falls Festival alongside a number of big names like Courtney Barnett, RUFUS DU SOL, Disclosure, Gang Of Youths and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard.

She also backed that up by playing Sydney's Field Day festival on New Year's Day 2016.
Halsey's status has obviously risen since that time, which includes the release of her critically-acclaimed second studio album, Hopeless Fountain KIngdom, in 2017 and a string of hit singles including Now Or Never, Bad At Love and the recently-released Nightmare.
The 24-year-old also recently made a surprise appearance at Yungblud's Sydney show this past February and last toured the country herself in April 2018.
So, we can all agree then that Halsey playing at Falls Festival this year or even Field Day 2020... is very possible.
