Phoebe Bridgers opened for Taylor Swift in Nashville and got down with the sickness.

Indie rock singer Phoebe Bridgers has been walking out to the Disturbed banger, Down With The Sickness, for almost a year (including at her recent Laneway Festival appearances).
On Friday (5 May), she caught the attention of Disturbed vocalist David Draiman after footage of her entrance went viral. Phoebe Bridgers was the opening act for Taylor Swift on Friday and Saturday nights.
Bridgers’s entrance theme is another curious contrast related to her music, as her songs are anything but nu-metal. However, her merchandise suggests otherwise, with her name scrawled in death metal fonts on t-shirts and skeletons as part of her overall theme.
After witnessing her walkout music, Draiman shared the viral clip on his Twitter account and wrote, “Phoebe Bridgers this is absolutely amazing,” with two hands raised emojis.
He added, “Love it! You’re welcome to come see our show whenever you want!” Draiman also tagged Taylor Swift’s Twitter account and the hashtag #TaylorSwiftErasTour. How many Swifties were getting down with the sickness?

In other Disturbed news, the vocalist recently directed his ire at Tinder, calling his experience on the dating app “an absolute shitshow”. “Scammers, grifters, fakes and phonies abound. What a colossal fucking nightmare. Deleted it. Dear lord,” he added.
David Draiman joined Tinder in the hopes that he could find love again following his April divorce from Lena Draiman.
A few days ago, a fan asked, “Lol dude you see this?! I'm tagging you because I believe it's fake,” per Metal Hammer.
Draiman replied, “Not fake lol. It's me. All good. You'd be surprised. It's hard for a guy like me to meet the right woman. I'll tell you, it's been weird so far. Lots of scammers. Trying to figure out how to navigate this new terrain.”
Disturbed released their eighth album, Divisive, in November. The album includes an AI-generated music video for the single Bad Man.
Since their formation in 1996, Disturbed have sold 16 million albums globally. Their single Down With The Sickness from the year 2000 record The Sickness is arguably their most known work and is synonymous with turn-of-the-millennium metal.
The band is one of few acts to have five consecutive number-one debuts on the US Billboard Top 200. They sit alongside Metallica as the only hard rock acts to ever do so in the chart's history.
