Dan Sultan, Beddy Rays Lead 10th Edition Of Festival Of The Stone

Byron Bay’s Festival Of The Stone will return this year for its tenth edition, with a line-up led by Dan Sultan and Beddy Rays.
The festival will return to its home of Stone & Wood Brewery in Byron Bay (100 Centennial CCT) on Saturday, 1 June. Along with the headliners, Festival Of The Stone has locked in The Beefs, Verge Collection, AKA Lui, and Mid Drift.
In addition to the solo acts and bands performing at the festival, numerous DJs will also appear at the event, including Bean Dip, Dan Muz, Yazmin, Cashew, Reiflex, Mase vs Kane, Sammond, Numbers, and Club Raiders DJs.
Festival Of The Stone is an event that celebrates music, community, child-friendly spaces and tradition, with multiple food trucks, fresh beer, Malt Disney kids’ area, the tapping of this year’s exclusive Stone Beer, and fundraises for the Byron Shire homeless hub, Fletcher Street Cottage.
Early release tickets for this year’s Festival Of The Stone are available now via the Stone & Wood website before local release tickets at the Brewery go on sale at noon on Friday, 10 May.

“Live music in Australia ain’t going anywhere. And with Byron having one of the highest homeless populations in the nation, now is as important as ever to support those sleeping rough. We’re happy to support Fletcher St Cottage’s incredible work in this area for the 10th year in a row.”
Dan Sultan’s headline slot arrives after the singer released his self-titled album last year. “There’s really clear nods throughout the record, to particular songs and particular feelings,” Sultan told The Music’s Bryget Chrisfield in an interview.
“I mean, a song like Wait In Love – there's Beatles influences in there. The end of Chance To Lose Control, that's [inspired by] The Beatles’ A Day In The Life.”
