The Australian prog-rock mainstays will premier new material during the run
Stalwart Aussie prog-rock outfit Closure In Moscow have been named as the national support act for Mew's upcoming national tour this September.
If it seems like it's been a little quiet on the Closure front of late, that's because they've been squirrelled away hard at work on their eagerly awaited third studio full-length, which is currently in pre-production. It'll be the group's first new release since 2014's lauded sophomore, Pink Lemonade.
The band will return to Perth for the first time in four years as part of the run of shows, and will use the tour opportunity to unveil new material for their fans, as well as dipping into their delightful and diverse back-catalogue.
Mew are returning to Australia for their second-ever visit in a couple of months in support of their acclaimed new album, Visuals. The shows promise to live up to the full-length's name, with self-crafted light and other visual artistry woven into the fabric of each performance.
