Stalwart Scottish rockers Biffy Clyro will make their return to Australia's east coast in April next year for a quick three-date tour in support of their latest album, Ellipsis.
The jaunt will kick off at Melbourne's Forum Theatre before heading to Brisbane and Sydney to round out the whirlwind run, which is at least their fifth visit to the country and their first since their 2014 sojourn for that year's Soundwave and associated sideshows.
Ellipsis, the band's seventh studio album and follow-up to 2013's Opposites, landed in July last year to broad critical acclaim, making its debut atop the UK charts and becoming their second album — consecutively and in general — to do so.
They were nominated for Best British Group at this year's BRIT Awards, and earned their second win in the same category at the 2016 NME Awards (they also took it out in 2013, and were nominated back in 2011).

With more than 20 years behind them, Biffy Clyro have never been stronger, and east-coast fans will no doubt revel in the opportunity to catch up with the northern destroyers when they touch down in a few months' time.
Tickets for all shows go on sale this Wednesday, 25 October, at 10am.
