Attn. Espresso Martini Lovers: The Triffid Is Hosting A Whole Festival Just For You

Calling all espresso martini enthusiasts: iconic Brisbane (Meanjin) venue The Triffid has announced the ultimate celebration of the boozy delight, with an entire espresso martini festival on the docket for next month.

Aptly titled the Espresso Martini Fest, it’ll be held at The Triffid on Friday March 15, kicking off at 8pm with a lineup of No Scrubs DJs – spinning R&B hits from legends like Destiny’s Child, Usher, TLC, Ja Rule, Ashanti, Nelly and oh so many more – and a full menu of exclusive espresso martinis.

In addition to the classic mix of espresso, vodka and Kahlua, the night’s one-off martini menu features a tantalising trio of delectable drinks – the standout being one that replicates the unforgettable taste of a Golden Gaytime. For a more deluxe toffee vibe, bartenders will also sling a salted caramel martini, as well as a “double choc chip” flavour perfect for any Cookie Monsters roaming the Valley.
