Apparently A$AP Rocky & Rihanna Aren't Engaged Despite New Video Clip

A$AP Rocky has released his new single and self-directed music video, titled D.M.B.

The track is dedicated to his partner, and soon to be mother of his child, singer-songwriting superstar Rihanna.

Its music video features the pair travelling around New York together, styled perfectly and deeply and romantically in love. It was directed by Rocky himself and was shot last Summer.

D.M.B is an ode to a classic love story, depicting two ride or die characters in a relationship despite their circumstances, with scenes depicting the duo drinking on a fire escape, in a hair salon and smoking under dim lights.

It ends with a wedding scene, as the duo walk through a crowd of peers with flowers presented to them. As they make it to the end of the hallway, he presents his gold grills that state 'Marry Me?' and Rihanna opens her mouth in reply, with her grills reading 'I DO'.

It is assumed that the pair are merely playing the fictional characters on the screen, living out their marriage, however, fans have immediately begun to speculate whether they are married.

TMZ has reported that even though the pair are still deeply in love, sources close to the couple say that the two aren't engaged. They report that the video was just done in good fun. 

The speculation doesn't stop there though, with Rocky shading abuser Chris Brown on the single's lyrics. Despite it being years since Rihanna and Chris Brown have been together, Rocky reminds fans how men have treated Rihanna in the past.

The song was also released on the R&B singer's 33rd birthday.
