The 28-year-old troubadour will charm audiences in Sydney and Melbourne during his Aussie trip
Soulful US singer-songwriter Allen Stone will expand his impending commitments in Australia for next year's Byron Bay Bluesfest with a pair of standalone headline shows to please punters not able to make it along for his eagerly awaited festival slot.
No stranger to Aussie shores, Stone once more heads Down Under to complement his Bluesfest slot with performances at The Factory Theatre, Sydney, on Wednesday 30 March, fronting up in Melbourne the following evening, Thursday 31 March, to perform at the Corner Hotel.
The return visit comes in the wake of recent new album Radius, made in collaboration with venerated Swedish soul singer-songwriter Magnus Tingsek and produced by Benny Cassette (Kanye West, Frank Ocean). It's a fittingly high-quality follow-up to the troubadour's acclaimed eponymous 2011 LP, helping him pick up an ever-growing number of daytime and late-night TV performances in the United States.
Aussie fans won't have to settle for screens when Stone makes his way to the country next year, however; tickets for his headline sideshows go on sale from 9am (AEDT) this Thursday, 29 October, via Bluesfest Touring.
