The celebrated US outfit will return for an eight-date run of shows in just a few months
US melodic hardcore vets A Wilhelm Scream are set for an all-out aural assault on Australia with a national tour coming this May.
The Massachusetts natives are widely recognised for their highly energised and exhausting live shows with a battery of riff-heavy rock that never serves to disappoint. Known as AWS to their worldwide fan base, it has been said of the act that they are “one of the most creatively engaging and thoroughly fun and exciting bands in punk”, and will make their return to Australia in May, a little over a year since their last national tour.
AWS will visit eight cities across both coasts, opening at the Rosemount Hotel in Perth on 19 May then hitting up Brisbane’s Crowbar on 20 May, Factory Floor in Sydney on 21 May, an all-ages gig at Rad Bar, Wollongong, on 22 May, The Basement, Canberra, on 25 May, The Reverence Hotel, Melbourne, on 26 May, then to Adelaide’s Uni Bar for another all-ages show on 27 May, and punching out their last show down in Hobart at the Brisbane Hotel, 28 May.
