Melburnian neo-soul songstress Francesca Gonzales has a brand new song for us to wrap our ears around and theMusic.com.au are super stoked to be delivering it straight to your earholes today.

Mixed by Kllo's Simon Lam, Memories is "about the realisation that life is completely out of our control. When we are feeling incredibly overwhelmed sometimes all we can do is look back at moments in our life that will pull us through the hard times we face," explains Gonzales. 

"The song is upbeat and repeats the same line "looking back, all we have are memories" because I want the audience to listen to the song and come away embracing the fact that everything we do instantly turns into a memory so fuck it and have fun."

They're wise words from the artist, who also doubles as a member of Cousin Tony's Brand New Firebird. Gonzales will be releasing her debut solo EP later this year.
