The Eats In Eden

Pleasure Garden, St Kilda's boutique festival and all 'round "delight for the senses", has it all - a massive line-up, carnival rides, art installations and, of course, amazing food. Here's a few of the things you'll be nomming on this 10 Dec.

Billy van Creamy

Let's be real: if you're in St Kilda in December you'll probably want to indulge in an icy treat at some point. Billy van Creamy make gelato by hand, without any colours or emulsifiers or other scary, scientific-sounding additives. That means real vanilla beans, real nuts, real mint, and real... beer? Did we mention they have beer ice cream? So that's a thing. 

Ironbark BBQ

They may have elected that orange monster Trump, but there are some things that America can do right, such as cooking meat. Cue Ironbark BBQ, the all-Australian business dedicated to American-style BBQ food. With their meats cooked slowly to the point of succulence, it's hard to not salivate at the sight or the smell of them. They do veggie foods too for all you herbivores!

Vegilicious

For those who don't partake in the eating of animals, Vegilicious has plenty of options available. They have vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options, from finger food and snack platters to heartier dishes like their spinach and ricotta vegetable lasagne. Plus, everything's served in biodegradable packaging, so it's good for you and the planet.

Dos Diablos

Halloween may be gone but there's still time to flirt with the devil, as long as you're okay with the devil being a little spicy. Dos Diablos is one of Melbourne's newer food trucks, but man have they made their mark quickly - transforming an ex-CFA canteen truck into a Mexican restaurant and serving up fiery food. Their signature tacos are something to look out for, as well as their Diablo fries.
