Tim Bottams is a Melbourne-based freelance journalist keen on all things creative.
Outside of Tim’s day job as an all-round reporter, he can be found writing creative fiction, writing music, writing arts features, and procrastinating from his writing duties. He is also passionate about film, gaming, and comics.
Tim is an unabashed apologist for the prog rock genre and is ever-ready to take up arms against anyone who would speak ill of the 20-minute-plus epic. He can be spotted wearing his battle jacket at most gigs regardless of if it’s metal or not; you’ll pick him out by the Elton John patch nestled comfortably beside Mr Bungle, Ulver, and Frank Zappa.
Tim also plays in a band, because of course he does.
