Got Me Wrong and the menacing Again keep the crowd thrashing and, as the rumbling bass of Would? heralds the predictable end of the gig, the band say their goodbyes, well primed for their Soundwave show tomorrow.

The 14 tracks span a mere 35 minutes, so don’t expect any epics, and it’s advisable to give your speakers a good flogging for maximum reward.

A finely tweaked cover of the Screamin’ Jay Hawkins’ classic I Put A Spell On You concludes tonight’s highly animated performance from a band who deserve to play to people who can match their intensity.

Funky strumming heralds inspired closer Holidays and, even though the set clocks in at a mere hour tonight, Miami Horror give as good as they get.

The rest of the set is a good mix of the timeless old with the new, and once the 90-minute show is over nobody can argue that the band didn’t deliver some fine quality meat and potatoes.

Clear is a good 30-minute listen for those requiring eight-string prog-guitars up in their ear holes.

The cast is strong tonight, the action blending well between scenes, and the intimate space is used to good effect, as has been the case over all five shows to date.

More cohesiveness next time, perhaps.
