As a kid I grew up listening to artists ranging from Neil Sedaka, Elvis, Journey and Bryan Adams to Pink, Beyoncé, Alicia Keys and Taylor Swift, being exposed to music ranging from the ‘50s – ‘00s daily due to my parents’ and grandparents’ taste. It’s definitely the reason behind my eclectic taste in music and my wild Spotify library.
I studied journalism, popular music, and creative writing at university, wanting to find a way to merge them. When I interviewed independent Brisbane labels for a story, I fell into the creative world of music journalism.
In my free time I enjoy singing and songwriting, and heading down to the theatre to watch plays and musicals. And, of course, seeing my favourite artists perform live!
