Album Review: The Tango Saloon -- Suspicion

The cinematic feel of The Tango Saloon’s fourth full-length album is perfectly captured in Suspicion’s cover art, which cleverly resembles a movie poster.

With their latest offering, the ensemble proves once again how seamlessly they’re able to blend the tango and spaghetti western genres, with best results showing in opening tracks Suspicion and The Legend Of Tango. Towards the end of the album however, the novelty starts to wear thin, with 14 tracks feeling like a few too many and little excitement shining through.
