Album Review: Neil Young - Live At The Cellar Door

After the success of the majestic After The Gold Rush in late 1970, Young did six nights at The Cellar Door with just a piano and an acoustic guitar, and he's at his fragile eclectic best. There's a few songs from his Buffalo Springfield days including Flying On The Ground Is Wrong, but the highlights are the criminally non-album track Bad Fog Of Loneliness, a piano version of Cinnamon Girl and an acoustic Down By The River. Sure it's 43 years ago now, but Young's archives continue to bear fruit.
